RAIA: For stealing a safe locker with Rs 93,571 in cash inside the Nexa dealership in Arlem-Raia, the Maina-Curtorim police have filed a first information report (FIR) against four suspects.
Savio Araujo, a resident of Borda, Fatorda, filed a complaint alleging that on January 5 between 2:00 and 4:30, four accused individuals broke through the wire mesh fencing to enter the Nexa showroom, which is located next to the RTO office in Arlem, Raia, and stole a safe locker containing Rs 93,571 in cash.
A violation of sections 305(a) and 331(4) r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) of 2023 has been reported by the Maina-Curtorim police. Police Sub-Inspector Sanket S. Naik conducts additional inquiry.
