BICHOLIM: In a shocking incident, theft was reported at Shantadurga High School at Bicholim wherein thieves decamped with Rs 30,000 cash.
This theft incident marks the eighth incident of school burglaries in the last two months.
“When the authorities came this morning they figured out that there had been a robbery and approximately Rs 30,000 cash collected as fees were robbed” said a staff.
The staff further said that immediately police were called in investigation is on.
“Investigation is on, we are looking CCTV footages,” police said.
Authorities are considering the possibility of an organised gang to be behind these incidents, given the similarity of the thefts.
