ISSORCIM: Unknown persons broke into an under-construction house at Issorcim village and decamped with electrical materials and tools, causing losses to the owner.
As per the complaint filed by Raju Kotar, a resident of Assoi Dongri, Dabolim, the incident occurred on 01/04/2026 between 20.00 hrs and 21.30 hrs. The accused allegedly entered the premises and stole wall-concealed electrical wiring. They also broke open the lock of a store room and took away a grinder, five bundles of electrical wires and a hand breaker before fleeing the spot.
Based on the complaint, Vasco police registered an offence against unknown accused under sections 331(4) and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of Police Inspector Vaibhav Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
