PONDA: The Mardol Police are investigating a case of theft involving truck parts worth ₹1.06 lakh that were stolen from different locations in Mardol.
The complaint was lodged by Sanket Valanju, a resident of Mardol, who reported that on October 15, 2025, at around 6:30 am, three unidentified persons stole three jacks and four batteries from three tipper trucks belonging to him, valued at ₹73,000. Additionally, one jack and two batteries worth ₹33,000, belonging to his friend Pralesh Naik, were also stolen, bringing the total value of the stolen property to ₹1,06,000.
The stolen trucks were reportedly parked at different spots in Mardol at the time of the theft. Police have registered a case, and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Zaki Hussain of Mardol Police Station.
