VASCO: In a major development, theft worth around Rs 3 Lakhs from two Automobile showrooms has been reported at Verna.
As per police information, Rs 2.37,800 cash was stolen from Goa Motors, Hyundai car Showroom and Rs 60,000 cash was stolen from Coastal Honda showroom at Verna.
Verna police have registered offence against unknown culprits under sections 454,457,427 and 380 IPC and PSI Utkrantrao Desai is carrying out a further investigation under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh. Hyundai Owner showroom Prashant Joshi says money may not be recovered but demand that police must catch the culprits involved in the crime.
