But this sliting of the throat and trying to behead a person just because he supported some comment? Is this human? We must have no sympathy for such heartless people in our country. Every individual or political leader, irrespective of which party they belong to or which religion they belong to, must strongly condemn the heinous act.

We saw similar killings by ISIS in Syria but never thought in our wildest dreams that such things could ever happen in the name of religion.
We have seen thousands of riots in India of late, wherein people were killed in the name of religion, beef and so on.

In this case, the accused also took responsibility for the murder by releasing the video. People say that the killers should be hanged so that such an act does not happen again.
The shocking part is that the accused videographed the killing and posted it on social media, which seems like a jihadi link and was done to create terror in the people’s minds.
There can be no justification for such crimes. No one can take the law into their own hands. We must demand that the state govt take the strictest possible action.
Brutalism in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those who spread terror due to this cruelty should be punished immediately. We all have to defeat hate together.
The designs that spread hatred and violence in the name of religion are fatal to our country and society.
However, it is good to see that the Muslim groups condemned the incident.
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board said that taking the law into one’s own hands was “highly condemnable, regrettable and un-Islamic”. It also called on the government to enact a law against blasphemy concerning religious personalities of all faiths.
The AIMPLB was among several Muslim organisations and political leaders that criticised the killing and called for strict punishment to the guilty.
The chief of the Ajmer shrine in Rajasthan, Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, said that Indian Muslims would not allow a “mindset of Talibanisation” to surface in the country.
“No religion promotes violence against humanity,” he said. “Especially, in the religion of Islam, all the teachings act as sources of peace.”
Bengal Imams Association said that “no true Muslim” would support the killing and demanded punishment for the accused.
The gruesome murder has ratcheted up tensions in the town, prompting the government to suspend internet services and deploy a large posse of police forces.
