OLD GOA: Old Goa Police has arrested Tamil Nadu native for committing theft of watches laptop and other articles on moving train.
As per information, the accused Vasant Karpaya was suspiciously near Gandhi circle Old Goa, accordingly the said person was brought at Old Goa Police station for further verification.
Upon further inquiry it was revealed that he has stolen watches, one laptop and other articles all Worth of Rs 2 lakhs.
It was revealed that the said bag and articles
are belongs to Narendra Kuppa Mendon and were stolen in train while he was travelling from Bangalore to Mumbai at Mumbai.
Accordingly, the Vasant Mani s/o Karpaya Mani was placed under arrest U/s 35(1) of BNSS 2023. Further the said accused was produced before court and was remanded in JC for 10 days.
