Panaji:At Ashwem beach earlier today a family entered into the sea. While they were there their belongings were on the beach. Suddenly they spotted a person rummaging through their bags and run away with some things. The family members raised an alarm and shouted for help.
Drishti Lifesaver Tushar Kharade and Drishti’s Beach Safety Patrol (BSP) Officer Vijay Parab chased the thief and brought him back to the tower. The police was notified and the thief was handed over to the police. On conducting a search, the police found the missing cash with the person.
Cola beach saw a rescue today of a male from Delhi age 25 yrs. The victim who seemed to be in distress in the waters was secured and brought ashore by lifesaver Dipesh Velip with a rescue board.
