MARGAO: Sidal Almas Chapel near Old Market in Margao was robbed by unknown persons.
A police complaint has been filed in this matter and police investigation has been going on.
The worst fears of the local residents came true when they found the donation box tampered with and the cash stolen.
As per information, the robbers entered the chapel by breaking the locks of the main door, broke open the cash box and decamped with cash.
This is the second time that such an incident has occurred at the holy site. Similar robbery had taken place on October 13, 2020.
