DABOLIM: In yet another burglary in Mormugao, Keshav Smurti School in Dabolim was targeted by thieves. This is the third burglary case reported in Mormugao.
Information has revealed that thieves decamped with cash of around Rs 50,000. The Thieves gained entry breaking the lock the incident came to light Monday morning when staff found lock open and principal office was ransacked.
Head mistress Sushma Korgaonkar has requested the Education Department that they be provided security guards.
This is the third burglary targeting a school in Mormugao talks within three days. On Sunday, burglars broke into the office of St Theresa school at Mangor in Vasco and stole one lakh.
Realizing that there were CCTV cameras installed within the premises, the thieves took away the DVRs valued at Rs 30,000.
