Chinchinim: The Velim Sports, Cultural & Eco Club successfully organised its third Vintage Bike Rally in Chinchinim, attracting more than 100 classic motorcycles and enthusiasts from across Goa. The rally celebrated the state’s rich motorcycling heritage and strong community spirit.
A major highlight of the event was the display of a 1941 motorcycle, the oldest bike showcased at the rally, which drew widespread attention and admiration from participants and spectators alike.
The rally was held with the support of local MLA Cruz Silva and was coordinated by Mr Blassco Moraes. The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with riders and visitors soaking in the nostalgic atmosphere as vintage motorcycles were showcased throughout the day.
To acknowledge the passion and dedication of the participants, the organisers presented prizes across various categories, adding excitement and encouraging greater participation from the vintage biking community.
Now firmly established as an annual event, the Vintage Bike Rally has grown into a signature attraction in the region. Organisers said the rally continues to play an important role in preserving Goa’s classic two-wheeler heritage while strengthening community bonds, making it a much-anticipated fixture on the local events calendar.
