COLVALE: Colvale Police has arrested three persons for duping a doctor who intended to obtain loan of Rs 93 lakhs for purchasing medical equipment.
SDPO Mapuca Jivba Dalvi informed that accused Sushant Kanthak R/o Madgao introduced the doctor to accused no 2Anant Dattaram Walavalkar of Sindhudurg, Maharashtra as a bank official.
Further accused no 2 and accused no 3 Kamat r/o Jail Road, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra impersonated complainant representing them as a bank officials who are dealing in loan approvals.
Further accused no 2 and 3 dishonestly induced the complainant to make payment of Rs 8,67,000/- in the personal bank account of accused no 2 inspite of in account bank giving loan towards loan insurance and other charges under the pretext of giving loan of Rs. 93,00,000/- in Mahindra Kotak Bank, on different occasions however failed.
Further to disbursed the loan to complainant thereby all the accused persons with their common intention cheated the complainant to the tune of Rs. 8,67,000/-.
Hence offence u/s 419, 420 r/w 34 IPC stand against all 3 accused persons
