PANAJI: In a shocking incident, a violent altercation occurred between two groups of individuals in Panaji, Goa.
The incident took place on a flight of stairs leading to the upscale nightspot in the city.
Three individuals from Margao suspected accused Viraj Gadkari, Aditya Naik, and Zia Mansoor, have been arrested and charged with attempted murder under the new BNS Act.
They were remanded in police custody for three days by a local court.
A Ponda resident, Shardul Shenvi Khandeparkar (24), sustained grievous injuries during the brawl. Police believe he was strangulated with the intent to kill.
