ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have apprehended three accused persons in Rajasthan in connection with an attempted murder case registered earlier this month over a dispute related to gas cylinder deliveries.
The case, registered on October 1, 2025, under Anjuna PS Cr. No. 136/2025 for offences under Sections 109(1) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, involved the assault of Ashok, 31, of Fuldem Wado, Nagoa, Bardez, who was attacked with an iron rod by Bagh Singh (33) and two unknown men at a rented room in Nagoa around 10 a.m.
The attack was reportedly premeditated, with Bagh Singh bringing accomplices to harm the victim.
During the investigation, multiple police teams were dispatched to Rajasthan as the accused continually changed locations to evade arrest.
Through technical surveillance and intelligence gathering, the suspects were traced to Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Acting on the information, a team led by PSI Viraj Naik apprehended Radheshyam (31) of Risaliya, Haryana, Lekhram (30) of Modi, Sirsa, Haryana, and Sunil (29) of Goriwala, Sirsa, Haryana within the jurisdiction of Suratgarh Police Station.
The accused are being brought to Goa for further investigation. The case continues to be investigated under the supervision of PI Suraj Gawas, Anjuna Police Station, with overall oversight by SDPO Mapusa, Wilson D’Souza, and SP North, Rahul Gupta IPS.
