VELSAO: Verna Police have registered a case against three women for allegedly abusing and assaulting a woman with a wooden stick following a property dispute in Velsao Pale.
According to the complaint filed by Rukmini Sharma, the incident occurred on November 22, 2023, around 6.30 pm, when the accused — Rupa Sharma, Ragini Sharma and Geeta Sharma — allegedly abused her with filthy language, assaulted her with a wooden danda causing injuries, and threatened her with dire consequences.
Police said the case is under investigation with PSI Carey Fernandes of Verna Police Station.
