VASCO/ NAVELIM: Police in South Goa have launched parallel investigations into two separate kidnapping cases involving three minor boys, reported within a day of each other in Vasco and Navelim.
In the first incident, Vasco Police received a complaint that a minor boy had been taken away by unidentified persons near the Municipal High School in Vasco on November 19 at around 1:30 pm. According to the child’s relative, the boy was removed from his lawful guardianship without consent. The case has been assigned to PSI Nikhil Naik Dessai, and teams have begun tracing the suspects and examining the area for clues.
In a second case, two minor boys were allegedly kidnapped from Navelim on November 18 at around 4:15 pm. The children’s father reported that unknown individuals took both boys without his permission. Police registered an offence and handed the investigation to PSI Sanjay Velip.
Officers in both jurisdictions are now verifying CCTV footage, questioning locals and coordinating with nearby police stations to track movements across the region. The search for all three missing children and the unidentified kidnappers remains underway.
