PANAJI: In a heart-stopping encounter at the DYSA ground in Curtorim, Parish Youth Nuvem and Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club clashed in a match that will be remembered for its intensity and skill. The battle for supremacy in the Simon Barreto Memorial football tournament, organized by Maina Sports Club, went down to the wire, culminating in a dramatic penalty shootout. Tyson Carvalho of Sao Jose de Areal, despite his team’s loss, was hailed as the man of the match by Ismail Sayed.
