PORVORIM: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte today refuted the allegations of massive spending on foreign trips of his PSD as alleged by Congress MLA Adv Carlos Ferreira.
“Aldona MLA accused my OSD of spending 1 crore 4 lakhs on abroad trips. However, the actual amount spent, as per records, is Rs. 6 lakhs 50 thousand 57 rupees as on date,” said Khaunte
He further said that the Aldona MLA should either provide evidence of the expenditure of 1 crore 4 lakhs by my OSD or take back his statement.
“These allegations are very serious in nature” said Khaunte
“Whatever Aldona MLA charged my OSD has spend 1cr 4 lahks on abroad trips, I am on record the actual is Rs. 6 lakhs 75 thousand, MLA should place the expenditure of 1cr 4 lahks or he should take back his words, allegations he made it’s very serious in nature,” said Tourism Minister
