Anjuna: A 26-year-old tourist from Madhya Pradesh was found dead at a private villa in Anjuna on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the incident came to light on March 9 at around 12:33 pm after Rahul Singh, owner of Whispering Woods Villa near Grand Peddem in Anjuna, informed the police that one of his guests had been declared dead by an ambulance team.
Following the information, PSI Sahil Warang along with police staff rushed to the spot to verify the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Aniket Kumar Vishwakarma (26), son of Badri Prasad Vishwakarma and a resident of Futera Ward No. 4, Narsinh Ward 29, Damoh in Madhya Pradesh.
Police have registered an unnatural death case at Anjuna police station under UD No. 21/2026 under Section 194 of the BNSS.
The body has been kept for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sahil Warang.
