ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have arrested a 20-year-old tourist guide from Rajasthan for allegedly stealing mobile phones and a smartwatch worth around ₹1.35 lakh from a resort room in Arpora, Bardez.
According to police, the theft took place on August 7 between 5 am and 8 am at Room No. 401 of M.N. Resort. The complainant, Sagar Wadhai from Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, reported the theft of his iPhone 14, Samsung S23 FE, Noise smartwatch, and a Realme 12 Pro Plus belonging to his friend.
Following investigation, police arrested the accused, Abdul Majid, a native of Jaipur, Rajasthan, residing near KFC, Calangute. Police recovered the stolen iPhone 14, Samsung S23 FE and Realme 12 Pro Plus from his possession.
