MORJIM: Two rent-a-cab vehicles (GA04T6904 and GA08Z0304) were found being driven on Morjim beach on August 31, 2025, around 6.30 pm, drawing the attention of tourists present there.
Tourist Police later traced the vehicles and imposed a fine of ₹5,000 each on the drivers — Sahil Bansal and Mayank Sharma, both residents of Delhi — under Section 9A(2) of the Goa Tourist Places (Protection and Maintenance) Act, 2021, for unauthorisedly driving on the beach.
