PANAJI: The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced temporary traffic arrangements along NH-66 in view of the IRONMAN 70.3 Goa triathlon scheduled to take place on November 9, 2025.
According to a notification issued by the Executive Engineer, Works Division VII (NH), PWD, Panaji, who is the Administrator of NH-66 from Patradevi to the Zuari Bridge, two-way traffic will be allowed on the Right-Hand Side (RHS) lane of NH-66 from the KTC Circle to the end of the New Zuari Bridge (Agacaim side) between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Additionally, two-wheelers will be permitted to use the Ponda ramp to the Panaji down-ramp of the Zuari Bridge during the same period.
The temporary traffic plan has been implemented to facilitate the smooth conduct of the 90-km cycling leg of the IRONMAN 70.3 Goa event, which covers the route from Divja Circle to KTC Circle and up to the end of the Zuari Bridge.
Motorists have been advised to follow traffic directions and cooperate with authorities during the event hours.
