PANAJI: A specialized training program on animal cruelty laws and legal response mechanisms was successfully conducted by Meet Ashar, Cruelty Response Legal Advisor and Associate Director of PETA India, for the officers of the DSPCA South.
The session aimed to enhance awareness and equip officers with legal tools to tackle cruelty cases effectively.
The workshop saw the active participation of Executive Secretary Virginia Simoes, Mr. Amol Satoskar, Mr. Raj Pratik, Mr. Soham Naik, Miss Kelly Menezes, and Miss Darshana Wadekar.
The initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening animal protection enforcement in the region.
