PANAJI: Responding to concerns raised by taxi operators over app-based taxi services and aggregator guidelines, Goa Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho assured stakeholders that the government is committed to a smooth transition.
“We have given them one month regarding the aggregator guidelines and app-based taxis. It is a draft notification, which reflects our intentions,” said Godinho.
“We want everyone to shift to app-based taxi services, and we will help them resolve all related issues.”
The minister further stated that feedback from all stakeholders will be carefully considered before finalizing the guidelines.
“After receiving feedback from all stakeholders, we will make the right decision,” he added.
The move aligns with the state’s broader objective to modernize transport services, improve transparency, and enhance tourist and local commuter experiences.
