PANAJI: Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho convened a review meeting with officials of the NHAI, MVR, and PWD (Roads) at the New Vaddem office to assess the traffic diversions necessitated by the ongoing flyover construction at Dabolim.
During the meeting, the Minister directed all concerned departments to ensure strict, coordinated, and efficient traffic management so that commuters can move safely and without inconvenience while construction progresses. He emphasised the need for clear signage, smooth diversions, and close inter-departmental communication to minimise disruptions.
The Minister reiterated that public safety remains the top priority and instructed officials to monitor the traffic flow regularly and resolve issues promptly.
