Panaji: In a momentous and spiritually uplifting initiative, Travco Holidays Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with the Diocesan Youth Centre (DYC) of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, has successfully organized the departure of a special youth pilgrimage — Youth Jubilee 2025 with Pope Leo XIV — from Goa to Rome.
Fifty young and enthusiastic participants embarked on this sacred journey on 28th July 2025, representing the vibrant youth of Goa at the Youth Jubilee 2025, a global Catholic gathering designed to foster prayer, reflection, cultural dialogue, and unity among young people from around the world in the presence of the Holy Father.
This pilgrimage marks a significant spiritual milestone and a rare opportunity for Goan youth to engage with the Universal Church in Rome. Travco Holidays expressed pride in being a part of this noble mission, working hand-in-hand with the Diocesan Youth Centre to ensure a smooth, safe, and meaningful experience for all participants.
The organizers extended heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão, Auxiliary Bishop Simião Purificaçao Fernandes, and Rev. Fr. Joaquim Loiola Pereira, Secretary to the Archbishop, for their continued blessings, prayers, and unwavering support, which made this pilgrimage a reality.
Special appreciation was also conveyed to Reverend Fr. Blaise Robert Lobo, Director of the Diocesan Youth Centre, whose dedication, guidance, and tireless efforts played a pivotal role in shaping this journey. His commitment to nurturing faith among the youth has been instrumental in turning this vision into a living, breathing experience of communion and faith.
The group is scheduled to return to India on 9th August 2025, after completing their spiritually enriching pilgrimage in Rome, carrying home memories of faith, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to living the Gospel in their communities.
