MARGAO: A review meeting of the District Level Planning and Monitoring Committee for South Goa and Kushavati District was held under the Tribal Sub Plan to assess the progress of various schemes and deliberate on fund allocation and expenditure.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Collector-II, South Goa and Head of Kushavati District, Ramesh Gaonkar. Officials from departments including Tribal Welfare, Agriculture, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Electricity, Forest, Health Services, Labour and Employment, Panchayats, Public Works Department (PWD), Science and Technology and Social Welfare attended the meeting.
During the session, all line departments presented updates on the implementation status of their respective schemes. Detailed discussions were held on financial allocations and utilization of funds under the Tribal Sub Plan.
The chair directed officials to improve inter-departmental coordination, enhance efficiency and ensure effective implementation of schemes aimed at benefiting targeted tribal communities.
