PERNEM: The Excise Department today has intercepted a truck at the Patradevi Checkpost carrying illegal liquor worth Rs 12 lakhs into Maharashtra
According to police, the truck bearing number MH 16 CC 8200 was intercepted at the checkpoint. During checking, it was found that the truck was carrying 330 cases of Indian made foreign liquor and Beer boxes, which is in value of Rs 12,14880.
The police said that the above case was booked today at 7:30 am on Excise check post-Patradevi Pernem Goa under Excise InspectorAmol Harwalkar, Salil Volvoikar Excise Sub Inspector.
