MAPUSA: Police have registered a case after a resident of Gaunsawado reported that unknown persons trespassed onto his property and vandalised a sacred Tulsi structure outside his ancestral home.
Complainant Siddesh Prakash Narvekar, a resident of H.No. E-91, Gaunsawado, lodged the complaint late on November 29 at 11:53 pm, stating that the incident occurred on November 25 around 7:30 pm.
According to him, unknown accused persons, acting with common intention, entered his property without permission and damaged the sacred Tulsi installed by his family.
The act caused loss to the complainant and allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of his family members. The case is being investigated by PSI Viraj Korgaonkar.
