TALEIGAO: Panaji Police have arrested two youths in connection with the theft of a motorcycle reported from Caranzalem, Tiswadi.
According to police, an offence was registered on December 22, 2025, at around 9.45 pm on the complaint of Santano Cruz Fernandes, a resident of H. No. 52 near the Old Post Office, Caranzalem. The complainant stated that his black Yamaha RX100 motorcycle bearing registration number GA 01 A 9462, worth approximately ₹30,000, was stolen on December 16, 2025, at around 3.12 am while it was parked in front of his house.
During the course of investigation, Panaji Police arrested two accused persons identified as Jayden Souza (19), son of Piedade Maxim, a resident of Odlem Bhat near Dr Parab Clinic, Taleigao, and Gauraksh Gawas (19), son of Ashok Gawas, presently residing at Camralwado near Nilesh Furniture, Taleigao.
Further investigation in the case is in progress and is being carried out by Head Constable Satish Maje (Buckle No. 5256) of Panaji Police Station.
