PONDA: In two seperate accidents at Apewal Querim and Kavlem, eight passengers were injured, and four were hospitalised.
In the early morning at 8 am today, the Kadamba bus carrying six passengers was proceeding from the Ponda bus stand to Querim Savoiverem met in an accident at Sharp turn at Apewal Priol. The driver was the driver, and the lady conductor was injured while four others were wounded.
One lady, namely Dhanashri Naik, was 
referred to GMC, and conductor lady Asha Gaude received a fracture on hand, while other passengers received minor injuries.
The locals rushed for the rescue of passengers.
The locals demanded that the government remove the sharp turns in the area and widen the road.
While in another accident that took place at Paunwada Kavlem at 12.45 am today morning, two youths on the bike, namely Sahil Talaulikar (30)r/o Talaulim and Abhishek Gaude R/o (31)Adulshe Borim were injured and shifted to hospital. The accident occurred after they hit the cow on the road. The cow died in the accident.
