VERNA: Dayasagar Kashyap and Neeraj Kumar, both from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, and currently living in Sancoale, have been charged by the Verna Police with disseminating an explicit video of a woman online with the intention of damaging the victim’s and her family’s reputation.
According to the authorities, the two suspects insulted and defamed a local woman by spreading a pornographic film of her.
According to the victim’s husband’s complaint, the event happened on October 25 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
After receiving a complaint, the police filed a case against both defendants in accordance with Section 79, 356(2) read with 3(5) of the BNSS and Section 67(A) of the Information Technology Act.
Notices were then sent to the accused in accordance with BNSS Act Section 35/3.
