PANAJI: The Goa Police Crime Branch on Friday arrested two persons and seized drugs worth Rs 1,02,000 from Anjuna.
That on 30/12/2022 at 07:30 hours Crime Branch PS Cr. No. 141/2022
U/s 20(b)(ii) (A) of NDPS Act, 1985, was registered upon narcotic raid and based on the state complaint of PI Nitin V. Halankar attached to Crime Branch, Ribandar.
The FIR says that 29/12/22 between 23:15 hours to 02:00 hours of 30/12/22 near village panchayat Anjuna, Talebandh, Anjuna Bardez Goa accused 1) Hafsal Chandanaparamil Habeeb S/o Habeeb C.A, age 43 years native chuloor, Edathiruthy village, Valappad Thrissur Chulur, Kerala at present flew market, Anjuna was found in possession of one auto press transparent polyphone bag.
The bag contained a blackish colour sticky substance suspected to be charas, weighing 64 grams, and one auto press transparent polythene bag contained in it dry greenish colour flowering and fruiting tops suspected to be Ganja, weighing 92 grams and whereas accused (2) Pritesh Sangam S/o Ballu Sangam, age 35 years r/o H.No.168, ward No.2, Dhablo wado, Anjuna Bardez Goa was found in possession of one auto press transparent polythene bag contains blackish colour sticky substance suspected to be charas, weighing 10 grams, all worth Rs.10,2000/- approximately in the international market which was attached is under search and seizure Panchanama. Further investigation is in progress with PI Narayan Chimulkar.
During the course of the investigation, both the accused (1) Hafsal Chandanaparamil Habeeb S/ Habeeb C.A, age 43 years, native Chuloor, Edathiruthy village, Valappad Thrissur Chulur, Kerala at present flew market, Aniuna (2) Pritesh Sangam S/o Bardez Goa are placed under arrest in above crime on 30/12/2022 at 07:30 hours.
