PERNEM: Pernem police have booked a person from Dhargal, Pernem and his mother for allegedly cheating a person from Mapusa to the tune of Rs 55 lakh. As per the police the man resold land which was already sold in 2012 to the victim from Mapusa.
As per the information, Vijaya Ramesh Prabhu Desai and Devendra Ramesh Prabhu Desai R/o H.No. 205 Gaun Wada Dhargal Pernem with common intention hatched a criminal conspiracy and sold the property under survey No. 428/0 of Village Dhargal, Pernem, Goa to the complainant by executing a sale deed before the office of the Sub-Registrar Pernem, Goa
The said property was already sold by the above-mentioned accused persons to Santosh Dahiya r/o Pitampura, Delhi in the year 2012 by executing a sale deed before the office of sub-Registrar of Pernem on 13.10.2017 thereby cheating the complainant to the tune of Rs. 55,00,000.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Yogesh Mandrekar under the supervision of PI Narayan Chimulkar and over the supervision of SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi, GPS and Superintendent of Police (North) Akshat Kaushal, IPS.
