SALVADOR DO MUNDO: The Porvorim Police have registered an extortion case against two persons for allegedly threatening a Delhi-based complainant and his contractor with death and grievous hurt over a property dispute.
According to police, complainant Praveen Kaushik (40), resident of Janakpuri, New Delhi, stated that between March 1 and August 6, 2025, at TNK, Torda, Salvador do Mundo, the accused — Ismeet Singh alias Ismeet Singh Jaggi of Donapaula and another person identified as Ronald (full name not known) — allegedly threatened him in connection with a dispute over survey no. 118/6 of Salvador do Mundo village.
Based on the complaint, Porvorim Police registered an offence of extortion and threats. The investigation is being conducted by PSI Sitaram Malik.
