MARGAO: Due to grave misconduct, two police constables had their employment terminated by South Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunita Sawant.
For attacking Traffic ASI Vivek Phadte while on duty, suspended constable Rajat Adpaikar received a notice of termination from the Department.
On September 10 of this year, Phadte stopped him while riding a two-wheeler without a helmet near Banastarim Bridge.
Rajat and his three family members attacked Phadte after a furious argument.
On the same day that the Mardol police filed a complaint against four individuals, SP South Sunita Sawant suspended Rajat, who was assigned to the Mormugao police station.
In a separate ruling, the SP South suspended Parshuram Satpalkar for using falsified paperwork to obtain employment with the Goa Police Department.
