Two COVID19 deaths in a day shocks Goa; Total count of Vasco reaches six

PANAJI: Tow deaths in a day, including one of a 31 year old from Vasco has sent shockwaves across the State.
The weekend began with news of death of 10th death in Goa early morning, as a 80 year old man from Vasco, who succumbed to the dreaded COVID19 at COVID Hospital in Margao. Sources revealed he was in the Intensive Care Unit for last few days.
Even as the news was yet to settle down, there came another shocker as a 31 year old young man lost his life, becoming the 11th victim.
People in the know said the man had co-morbid conditions like jaundice and malaria. Though the news could not be independently confirmed by Goemkarponn.
Within minutes, there was news of death of another lady who died on way to hospital with suspected symptoms of COVID.
However, the swab tests was not conducted and hence cannot be cannot as Corona positive case.
What is even more shocking is that Vasco, which has been the epicentre of COVID19 cases in Goa has lost five lives.
Goa so far has 2251 confirmed COVID19 cases with 1347 recoveries. The active cases as on last evening was 895.
