TALIGAO: Two persons were injured, one among them seriously, after a bull attacked them at Taleigao.
Panaji police have arrested the bull owner Newton Azavedo from Taleigao for failing to take proper precautions to tie the bull.
The incident happened in Taleigao’s Cardoz Waddo. The accused, according to the police, acted carelessly and neglected to take the necessary procedures to tether the bull.
Near their home, an aggressive bull traveled for over a kilometer before striking Faiyaz Shaikh and his wife Rizwana with serious injuries.
Police were informed that Faiyaz had underwent surgery and was admitted to the GMC, while Rizwana managed to flee with very minor injuries.
In accordance with IPC Sections 289, 337, 338, and 427, a FIR has been filed. PSI Sanket Pokhare is looking into the situation.
