COLLEM: Collem Police have registered a case following a road accident at Nandran, Mollem, which left two persons injured.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Ramakrishna Gadkari, a resident of Sindhudurg, stating that on March 18, 2026, at around 5.30 pm, the accused, identified as Babu Shelke, resident of Aldona, Bardez, was driving his Ertiga car in a rash and negligent manner, endangering human life, while proceeding from Belgaum towards Mollem.
When the vehicle reached Nandran, Mollem, the accused allegedly dashed against the complainant’s Renault Kwid car which was coming from the opposite direction. As a result of the impact, the complainant’s wife Radhika Gadkari and mother-in-law Laxmi Gauda sustained injuries.
Collem Police have registered a case and further investigation is being carried out by HC 4644 Deepak Gawas of Collem Police Station.
