USGAO: Two persons sustained injuries in a road accident that occurred on June 21, 2025, near the MRF factory at Usgao. As per police inquiry, the incident took place when the driver of a 407 LPT goods vehicle, identified as Imamhusen K. Jindhekhan, 22, a native of Belgaum, drove the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner, thereby endangering human life. While approaching the MRF factory area, the vehicle reportedly rammed into a Honda Activa scooter from behind. As a result of the impact, the pillion rider, Mohamand Khawaja, 46, a resident of Anjuna and native of Karnataka, sustained grievous injuries to his left arm. The rider of the scooter, Mujhemal Rajesab, 38, also suffered minor injuries. The case is being further investigated by ASI Bhomkar of Ponda Police Station.
