COLVA: Two persons were injured after two scooters collided at Grand Pulwaddo, Benaulim, on October 17, 2025, morning.
According to a state complaint filed by HC Kamlakar Velip of Colva Police Station, at around 8:30 am, Mushraf Bozkar, resident of Borimol, Quepem, was riding his Aviator scooter in a rash and negligent manner while proceeding from Khareband towards Benaulim.
When he reached Grand Pulwaddo, his scooter allegedly crashed into a Pleasure scooter moving in the same direction. The impact caused the Pleasure rider, Gany Sebastian J. Fernandes of Carmona, to fall and sustain injuries to his right leg, while the accused rider also suffered injuries to his hands.
An offence has been registered under Sections 281 and 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Further investigation is in progress under HC Kamlakar Velip of Colva Police Station.
