After four consecutive 100-plus cases in last four days, the State on Sunday the COVID19 count in Goa came down to 85 yet the two deaths in the death has become a matter of concern for the citizens as the toll is now up to 14.
The recoveries continued to be above sixty percent as 59 patients recovered today.
The State has 2453 confirmed cases and 1487 recoveries. The active cases are 952.
Amongst the deceased today were a 80-year old lady from Chicalim and one male 49 years from Palolem, Canacona both with co-morbid conditions, who were admitted to dedicated COVID ESI hospital, at Margao.
Out of 5008 samples tested, 2328 are negative, 85 are positive and 2595 reports are awaited.
The DHS bulletin says at present the patients in isolation wards are 28 and people quarantined in various facilities are 89.
Goa has so far tested 92191 and 89596 reports have been received.
