Panaji: Two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on Saturday to strengthen school education in Goa through institutional collaboration under the Dempo Vishwa Gramshala Initiative.
The MoU signing was chaired by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Mahalaxmi, Altinho in Panaji.
Under the initiative, the Vasantrao Dempo Education and Research Foundation signed an MoU with the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa for Government High School, Chimbel, and another MoU with Vijay Educational Trust for Ideal High School, Piligao. Both agreements will be implemented under three-year school development programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, Sawant said the initiative highlights the importance of public-private collaboration in improving learning environments, strengthening educational outcomes and creating better opportunities for students.
The Chief Minister also thanked the Dempo Group for its continued support to Goa’s education sector.
He reaffirmed that the Goa government remains committed to ensuring quality education and the holistic development of every child in the state.
