PANAJI: Panaji Police today has arrested two Nepal residents for committing theft of electric scooters from Althino.
As per information, the accused has been identified as Basant Mijar S/o Bhopal Mijar, age 19 years R/o C/o Dic Restaurant, Mayem Lake, Bicholim, Goa and Bishal Gurung s/o Narayan Gurung, age. 24yrs, R/o c/o Silver Spoon Bar and Restaurant, Sankhalim, Goa both native of Nepal.
Panaji Town Police Station through their meticulous planning and intelligence collected the information through technical surveillance and CCTV footage and managed to trace the identity and apprehend the accused persons.
The team led by PI Panaji Shri Vijaykumar Chodankar, HC-5108 Samir Naik, PC-5918, Erimiya Gurraya, PC-8350 Akash Dhulapkar of Panaji PS, developed the information and well executed, under overall supervision of Shri Sudesh R. Naik, SDPO Panaji and Shri Akshat Kaushal, IPS, SP North.
