Two persons from Zuarinagar booked for assault on a man, mother

VASCO: The Verna police have booked two persons Vijayendra Kumar Naik and Anil Naik from Zuarinagar on charges of assault on a man and his mother.
Verna police sources said that one Sagar Nandu Rathod, a resident of Zuarinagar Sancoale had complained that the two accused had assaulted him and his mother on 13th October at Upsangar junction, Sancoale.
“The complaint informed that both the accused with their common intention abused him and his mother in filthy language and assaulted them with slaps. The accused Vijayendra Kumar Naik also assaulted him with a Beer Bottle on his neck causing simple injuries to him,” said the source.
Verna Police have registered offence under sections 118(1), 352 r/w 3(5) BNS and Notice under section 35/3 of BNSS is served upon accused persons.
PSI Pramila Fernandes is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
