CALANGUTE: Two people from Goa have been taken into custody in relation to the murder of Nafe Singh Rathee, the head of the Indian National Lok Dal’s (INLD) Haryana unit.
On February 25, several bullets were fired into the car carrying Nafe Singh Rathee and party worker Jai Kishan in Bahadurgarh in the state’s Jhajjar district, resulting in their deaths.
In a coordinated operation, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, the district police, and the Haryana Police’s Special Task Force detained Ashish and Saurabh in Goa.
They will be transported to the nation’s capital by afternoon, according to police officials in Delhi, who stated that they were taken into custody from North Goa, where they were lodging in a hotel.
According to a senior Delhi Police official, on February 25, four people Ashish, Saurabh, Nakul, and Atul opened fire on Rathee and Kishan’s car.
According to the Jhajjar Police, two more shooters are being sought after. Four shooters who are suspected of killing Nafe Singh Rathee have been identified, and efforts are underway to apprehend them, according to a senior Haryana Police officer who made this announcement earlier on Saturday.
Jain had declared, “Our teams were conducting raids at various places in different states to nab them.”
According to the police, the owner of the vehicle has been located, and those who utilized it have been apprehended and questioned about how the car got to the gunmen. Forensic experts removed samples from the car in order to conduct an examination.
