PANAJI: In two separate incidents, Panaji Police have registered cases after two unidentified men were brought dead to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, over the last two days.
On September 4 around 12.08 pm, police received a memo from GMC regarding an unidentified male, around 35 years old, who was brought dead by an EMRI 108 ambulance. He had reportedly been found lying at the Panaji bus stand.
On September 5 at 10.46 am, another memo was received regarding an unidentified man, aged about 50 years, who was brought dead by an ambulance from near Inox, Panaji. Police visited the spot but found no incriminating articles. A case has been registered at Panaji Police Station under section 194 of BNSS.
The deceased has been described as dark complexioned, medium build, about 168 cm in height, with a black moustache and grey beard. At the time, he was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt and navy-blue track pants.
Police are making efforts to establish the identities of both deceased persons. Enquiries are being conducted by PSI Mahesh Naik and LPSI Sapna Gawas of Panaji Police Station.
