PANAJI: Anjuna Police in a narcotic raid at Baga has arrested two West Bengal natives in possession of 5kg of ganja.
As per police, the accused has been identified Rasidul Mondal s/o Motleb Mondel, age 29 yrs n/o Bholanathpur, Tulat, P.S. Kumarganj, Dist-Dakshin Dinajpur, west Bengal at present Agarwado, Calangute, Bardez Goa and Laijur Molla s/o Golam Mostafa Molla, age 26 yrs r/o Vill- Samjia, Uttar Para, Post Samjia, PS Kumarganj, Dist- Dakshin Dinajpur, west Bengal at present Agarwado, Calangute, Bardez Goa.
Both accused were caught red handed while they came to deliver 5 kg of Ganja to their prospective customer with Honda Activa scooter bearing no. GA-03-W-9089.
In this connection registered Anjuna PS Cr. No. 142/2021 U/s 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPA Act. Both the accused persons have been arrested.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Francis Xavier under the supervision of PI Suraj Gawas, SDPO Mapusa and SP North.
