Navelim: United Club of Benaulim got the better of Dicarpale Sports Club 5-4 via tiebreaker to enter into the semifinals of All Goa Navelim Villagers Union trophy organised by Navelim villagers Union and played at Rosary Church ground Navelim
Dicarpale Sports Club made an early move when shail inamdar sent a long pass to Agnelo Colaco who gave through pass toMilton Colaco who dribble past few defender and took shoot from the top of the box which was punch away for corner by Benaulim goalkeeper then Dicarpali created another move by Aeron figueredo who gave pass to Brian who took powerful shoot which deflected to Benaulim defender and from rebound Dicarpali scored through William Niasso in the 18th minutes of play inthe first half and remained 1-0 lead till the half time.
Changing over United club regroup quickly and took control of the game and move was created with combination of Junad khan, Keegan fernandes and Alejo ,this move yield fruits when Keegan fernandes sand a cross to Victor and he took control and place the ball in the net to find qualiser through Victor fernandes in the 48th minutes of play and made way for penalty shoot out to decide the winner.
In the resultant tiebreaker United club of Benaulim netted through Osbourne fernandes, Faizel Bepari, Alejo fernandes and Treulon fernandes while Dicarpale SC scored through William Niasso, Aeron Figueredo, Veliston Colaco
