MARGAO: An Udupi native was injured in a stabbing incident in Margao after a heated argument escalated into violence near Sahi Darbar Hotel.
Margao Town Police registered Crime No. 104/2025 under Section 118(2) of the BNS 2023 based on a state complaint filed by ASI Santosh Gaonkar.
Police said that around 7:30 pm on 24 November, the victim, Mohammed Ibrahim, was stabbed below the left side of his chest by an unidentified person during a quarrel.
The assailant fled the spot immediately after the attack, leaving Ibrahim bleeding.
The investigation, now led by PSI Subhash Gaonkar, is underway to determine the motive behind the altercation and identify the attacker.
